This weekend was crazy weather wise. Downtown Atlanta was hit with a tornado that has damaged a lot of the city. There were no buildings that were torn down but lots of roof damage and windows blown out. There are billboards that were blown in to the street and cars that were totalled. We didn't get that kind of damage on Friday night, but on Saturday we got held up at Wal-Mart because the tornado siren went off. We asked the clerk what to do. She said if it got close that they would gather us in the center of the store. Not two seconds later, "Attention WalMart Shoppers!!! We ask at this time to go to the center of the store" We were there for about 15-20 minutes. Lance said "Please don't let us die at a Wal-Mart!" Anyway, when we got home it seemed the storms had passed. Then we got a bad storm. It hailed for about 5-10 minutes but left all this behind.
On Sunday we rested. I met Angela and Chrissy to get our nails done. It was a brief escape for Angela and Chrissy from the chaos of dealing with their parents illnesses. We had a great time. Found an AWESOME new place to get my nails done. They were great! When we got home, Lance, JP and I went outside to enjoy the sunshine. Here is a couple pictures of our Sunday Afternoon.
