Happy Easter!

Happy Easter Everyone!

We had a great weekend at my parents house. We traveled south on Friday morning. We met Sharon, Ralph & Ty in Perry for lunch. (They were at the cattle show). We arrived in Thomasville around 3pm. We unpacked everything and relaxed until time for dinner. Friday night, Lance & I went to dinner with Danette & Doug. We went the Plaza in Thomasville. I had the "Waffle House Special" while Doug had prime rib. Needless to say, his was much better than mine. We shared a bottle of wine and had a nice childrenless dinner.

On Saturday, we got ready to have the Easter Egg Hunt at 3pm. We made a cake and had ourselves a little party. We had invited my cousin over with her three kids, but they had to cancel at the last minute. That night we grilled steaks out on the grill. They were YUMMY! Kudos to the guys for standing outside in the FREEZING temps to cook us dinner.

Speaking of the weather. It was so windy during our easter egg hunt that we all had to bundle up to try to keep warm. So much for the Easter clothes we bought!! At one point the wind was cathching JP's breath so that he couldn't breath. It was a little scary. I didn't know know that could happen.

On Sunday, we went to church and saw a great Easter Cantata. We rushed home for dinner since my mom had to go to work. Shortly after we ate we began to pack everything up to come home. It was a short trip, but really nice. I really think JP had a great "First Easter". Thank you to everyone that helped it be so memorable for all of us!
