We had a great time in Athens on Saturday despite all the DRAMA! We arrived just around lunch time and had lunch at The Grill. We headed to campus after that only to find out that professor had shot four people, killing three. There were SWAT team member everywhere on North Campus. Park of the campus was on lock down while they searched for the gun man. It left us in a dilema to continue or trip to the stadium or to just leave. After debating we decided to trek on. We got updates from family on the news throughout the day. After we took some pictures and visited the book store we decided we had had enough and went home.
We ended up grilling some great food. The boys played forever outside until they were all tuckered out. Here is my post of pictures from the weekend. Check out Angela's website for her version of the weekend.
